Michael Jackson

On May 16th, 1983 Michael Jackson stunned the world with his performance of Billy Jean at Motowns 25th Anniversary celebration concert. In that performance, dressed in a sequined jacket and one white glove, he performed something called the Moonwalk. I was thirteen and at home watching it on my TV. I was floored. I've been in love ever since. There will never be another Michael Jackson.

My mom and dad had this recorded on VHS... I would watch it over and over again when I was little. I taught myself the Moonwalk and the dance to Thriller before I was 4... I LOVE MJ.

So sad.

I spent many an hour of my life listening to his records and then watching his videos. He was an incredible talent.

It is very hard to believe its real. My dad has this, as well as countless other hours of footage, and we would watch it over and over and over again! So sad and tragic.

He was truly an icon and super talent! I remember coming home from school early my junior year in HS to watch the world premier of Thriller!

It's just so sad....
